About Innovative Health Solutions, L.L.C.
Innovative Health Solutions, L.L.C. was founded in 2011 by Marilyn Thompson, a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of experience in hospital, home health, and school-based healthcare. With a deep commitment to pediatric and community health, Marilyn developed the company to meet the growing need for quality health education, compliance training, and support services for schools, Head Start programs, and healthcare providers across East Texas.
Under Marilyn’s leadership, Innovative Health Solutions quickly became known for its high standards and specialized expertise in early childhood health. Her background as Nursing Director for a large public school district and as Health Coordinator for Region 7 Head Start — serving over 2,200 children and pregnant women across 12 counties—helped shape the company’s foundational mission: to empower caregivers, educators, and professionals with the tools to create safer, healthier environments.
