BLS Class Information
**American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Course**
Time: 9:00AM – 1:30PM
Location: Palestine Nursing Lab, 100 University Dr, Palestine, TX 75803
Registration Deadline: 12 hours before class start time

To participate in this class and receive your AHA BLS Healthcare Provider card, you must follow the instructions below:
1. Purchase the Required Manual
You are required to purchase the AHA BLS Provider Manual before attending the class and provide proof of purchase upon arrival.
Choose one of the following versions:
**You will not be allowed to take the class without the manual and proof of purchase**
2. Payment Instructions
Please choose the PayPal option when paying for your session and click Submit.

You do not need a PayPal account to complete your payment.

We do not accept checks or cash at the class. You will be removed from the roster if you do not pay in advance.
3. What to Bring

A printed or digital copy of your provider manual proof of purchase
(This is required to participate and receive your certification card.)
Modules/topics covered include:
- Universal Chain of Survival – including the newly updated single chain model for all ages and settings
- CPR/AED Skills for Adults, Children, and Infants – with pocket mask and bag-mask device practice
- Hands-On Practice for One-Rescuer and Two-Rescuer Scenarios
- Team Dynamics and High-Performance Resuscitation Teams
- Responding to Respiratory Emergencies
- Drowning Recognition and Management
- Caring for a Choking Adult, Child, and Infant – following the newest alternating back-blow/abdominal-thrust guidance
- Special Considerations – including opioid-related emergencies, maternal cardiac arrest, and other high-risk or rare scenarios
- Additional Emergency Response Training aligned with the 2025 AHA CPR & ECC science updates
You will receive your BLS Healthcare Provider CPR card after completing the class, typically within 24 hours.
